Rocket sports partnerships shine at Sports Industry Awards
It is a proud moment for Rocket Sports to see three projects we have supported shortlisted at the 2026 Sports Industry Awards, spanning the Partnership Award and Purpose Driven Sponsorship Award categories.
In the Partnership Award category, HSBC’s sponsorship of the LTA Championships has been recognised following a transformational first year. Together, the LTA and HSBC reintroduced women’s tennis to Queen’s Club after 52 years and reimagined the event as a nationally resonant festival of the sport. The result was the most successful Championships in its history, delivering record audiences, a 40% increase in commercial revenue and meaningful brand uplift for HSBC.
In the Purpose Driven Sponsorship Award category, BRITA’s partnership with the LTA has been shortlisted for its sustainability impact across British tennis. In 2025 alone, more than 260,000 single-use plastic bottles were removed from events, taking the total to almost half a million bottles saved and over 77,000kg of CO2e reduced. It is a powerful example of how partnership can drive measurable environmental change.
Also shortlisted is “We Don’t Bleed Blue”, the bold and culturally significant collaboration between Chelsea Women and period-care brand Here We Flo. In a world-first moment, players walked onto the pitch wearing shorts marked with a realistic period-blood stain, challenging stigma and sparking global conversation around women’s health. It was brave, authentic and impossible to ignore.
These nominations celebrate commercial success, but also courage, purpose and the willingness to think differently. We are proud to have played a role and congratulate all of our clients and partners on this well-deserved recognition.
Rocket Sports is proud to have supported these partnerships and congratulates all involved on this well-deserved recognition.
